Loaded with fresh red raspberry, blackberry jam, licorice, and rich dark chocolate. Hard to believe its a 2003.

Doctor No

This is a luscious wine when young. Was interested to try this with almost 15 years on it. It was still largely primary. Dark, inky, plum-and-grape-soda nose. No offensive sweetness but this is thick and unctuous. There really was no complexity or layers to this, which left me a bit disappointed. Tannins were soft but I’m sure this could go a long while. Just not sure if it ever gets anywhere really interesting.
