Dec 7th, 2017Really nice cab from Stag’s Leap. Made from a blend of single vineyards (e.g., Fay, SLV), the wine has rich aromas of cassis, candied blueberries, and plumb. Very soft on the palate with well-concealed tannins, the wine is nicely balanced. First time having this particular wine from Stag’s Leap, at $28 retail this is one of the best QPR cabs from Napa that I’ve tried in a long time. Highly recommended!
