Medium to deep ruby red with a slight garnet hue. Damp earthiness and even a bit of truffle on the nose as well as cherries. Medium tannins (5/10) with a medium body. Definitely showing its age and on the down slope for the wine. Similar notes on the palate with a bit stewed berries. Medium to medium plus finish. Drink now.
