Cask 23 Napa Valley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Rich and chewy. Great color. Deep deep purple-red. Great finish. Showing nicely. Split between two evenings and it held nicely and developed even more Day Two.

We had the 2013 Vintage on 7/25/20. A more earthy bouquet with minerals. The palate had dark fruit. Still, the wine was well balanced and full bodied. This had a more Old World feel.

Stunning. Still a small amount of tannins left. Lots of fruit. So good. This one could still hold for some time.

Just what you would expect.....

Dark fruits. Spicy at the finish. Silky texture.

Great aromatics, sexy and intriguing nose. Licorice with layers of herbs and spices. Tight grained tannins. Needs 5+ years.

Great cab. Definitely one of the top young cabs to drink. Opens up with dark berries after a few minutes in the glass. Beautiful tasting venue at Stags Leap Wine Cellars

Ridiculously smooth and full of dark berry notes like Blackberry and Blueberry with some pepper tossed in for good measure. A subtly dry wood cask finish rounds out the body. Best friends with steak or a nice dark chocolate. Smooth and dreamy.
