Wish I had some more time with this. Classic and much softer than I expected.

Never disappoints. Blend of SLV and Fay vineyards. Could probably age for longer but ready to drink now too. Deserves a prime piece of meat alongside it!

Nice forest floor, well integrated. Tannins resolving but enough to go many more years.

Beautifully balanced - embodies the velvet hammer SLV is famous for. Floral notes in the nose with leather and dark fruit. Palate is amazing- balanced throughout, dark fruit, touch of pepper on a lingering finish. Made the Christmas dinner one to remember. Thank you SLV!

well integrated oak, spice and fruit, still very young and fresh, screams napa, a bit of tobacco and black currant. But tastes heavy to me. Hard to ignore the pedigree though, clearly well made.

Served double decanted. Classic Napa Cab. Rich, dark fruit flavors. Full bodied. Decent acidity and subtle tannins. Perfect with a rib-eye.

Could have used a bit more time in the cellar, but drinking OK after decanting and waiting a while. Paired with a ribeye.
