At 20 years, this still shows incredible youth. Loads of brambly wild berries and cocoa. Rich body and ripe polished tannins. Iron fist in a velvet glove.

At PnP was really right and didn’t want to give up its secrets. A half hr of air and it relented—layers of flavors. Will revisit again as it opens more, but the nose and taste are delicious already.

Over the hill, but still luscious and ripe. A bit raisin/prune given the age. Chalky. Would have been great >3 years ago. Drink now!
