Ripping wine my brother in-law made. 2008 is one of my favorite Napa Valley vintages in the past decade and this one sits with some of the best... Still very young so |if you can| hold for a few more years before opening...

This Staglin, on the other hand, was fabulous. Pop and pour and open for business.

TEXSOM 2013 - Final tasting

A very nice Cabernet that is drinking well right now and remarkably soft for the age.

Nice dark fruit, sweet, not spicy on the nose. Long finish.

I used to be a club member and this was part of one of the shipments from years ago. Lots of sediment. This has held up very well. A bit older than I like.

I really love this vintage of this wine. Great, somewhat under-heralded vintage.

Wow! Happy Easter to me.. this tastes like silk.. it’s just hitting its stride in my opinion.. beautiful, densely packed fruit, light vanilla, mild tannins! Delicious
