Baked grapefruit and cantaloupe? A tad cloying to be an everyday favorite, but this was a highlight of our little tasting at the winery last month. This isn't a style of sauvignon blanc that I drink very often with its richness, but it's quite enjoyable. Great with a Chicago-dressed-up hotdog!

On this occasion with this wine, I though far more highly of it than on a previous tasting. This time we had it paired with a halloumi dish and this wine really shined. So zesty with the grapefruit and lime notes immediately attainable on both the nose and palate. Really the mouth feel, green note (summer green beans), and length is what I was drawn to this time though. This one went forever. Not a patio sipper for the rotation... This one has something special.
