Tiny Dancer Beacon Hill Vineyard Chardonnay

This is not California Chardonnay. This is Willamette Valley Chardonnay, produced from Beacon Hill Vineyard fruit. St. Reginald Parish is a huge proponent of natural wines and this is wonderful natural Chardonnay: probably organic or biodynamic fruit, 40ppm total SO2, and astoundingly 75% new oak. Complex aromatics are slightly volatile, but somewhat pleasurably so. Reminds me of Jura on the nose. The palate is a whole other world, clean, dense and delicious. Bravo Andy

One of us got meadow and, grass on the nose. The other tropical fruit or passionfruit.
Long acidic finish, puckery.

Very impressed.
