An exceptional example of Willamette Valley (McMinnville AVA) Pinot noir. The aromas just boom out of the glass - violet, raspberry, wild strawberry, red currant, black cherry and a hint of oak spice - cloves and smoke - and dried orange peel and forest floor on the close. Crisp acidity and an elegant, silky texture that is bewitching. A great value for this level of quality and, at six years of age, still youthful and incredibly food friendly.
