Very dark. Holy high alcohol Jim! 14.9%. Smells a bit like port, grandma’s fruit cake, & blackberry/black cherry jam. Also like Christmas. I heard that from somebody. This wine is all Christmas. Flavor is similar to nose. Toasty, toffee, smokey, slightly raisiny. It has a nice dry, earthy finish though. The ink and graphite hint late. It’s a unique, big Tempranillo, but it’s tasty and delicious. Best on a cold night as the last one...
