Translucent garnet color, loaded with pure red fruit with a bit of vanilla, and supported by fine tannin, it reflects a more elegant style than last night's Sobon Rocky Top. Dangerously gluggable for a wine labeled at 14.9% alcohol.

Soft nose with a mild oaky texture. Flavor is mild, with a solid peppery finish coming from the old vines. The acidity is a little elevated deflecting from the fruit flavors. The nose is a bit musty leading me to believe this could be a bit corked.

Tight nose, getting nothing. Color is dark purple with long legs running down the side. What does come through is the fruit. Mostly berry’s and stone fruit.
