Surprised by how well this was showing. Really thought it would've fallen off but it is still hanging on. Perfumed, dried cherry, apple skin, ash, dried flowers, hoisin, potpourri, leather, gravel, baking spice. Palate is alive, elegant and very supple in texture. I would not wait anymore to drink.

Lovely, classic California Cabernet. Great fruit and depth with elements of brambles and black fruit. Lovely balance. You need

Hot, young, and running free. A little bit better than it used to be.

Way past it’s prime. My wife could barely drink it. I soldiered on despite its lack of charm. Some funk blew off. Finished it on the third day. I drank a 96 recently and while it shared many of this wine’s unattractive traits it was still pleasurable to drink. I purchased it on release and have kept it in a temperature controlled locker since. Based on the price this winery is fetching for current releases I’ve concluded that this is overpriced and should be drunk far younger than this. A disappointment.
