Nice legs. Slight bite and softer Pinotage. Good considering price!

Deep purple in color with a purplish rim.

Fruity nose of sweet strawberries, cherries, candy, cooked plums, wildflowers, earth, oak, licorice, vanilla, chocolates, espresso, tobacco leaf, light vegetable notes, spices and peppercorn.

Full bodied, smooth and elegant, with medium plus acidity and gorgeous legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, cherries, currants, cranberries, forest floor, dirt, leather, espresso, vegetables, beef jerky, Indian spices and black pepper.

Nice length on the finish, with extremely soft tannins and sour strawberries.

A nice Pinotage from South Africa. This 3 year old is drinking very smoothly now. Well-balanced an enjoyable. Good sipping wine and Great with food too.

I usually like my Pinotage with more tannins, but apparently I kept it in the cellar for a year too long. Has a nice acidity that makes it interesting, though.

Not so good right out of the bottle, as it is stinky and doesn't taste good at all, but after 90 minutes it is very pleasant both on the nose and palate.

I paired it with hard cheeses and crackers.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

Classic Pinotage, somewhat overripe red berry fruit, soft tannins, excellent value for money.

Good weekday wine. Was better on day two. I would buy again, well priced.
