A bit harsh, especially for a "private collection" label. Opened the bottle, had a glass, and then set it aside for a couple of days. More interesting now - ink, graphite, lead, pencil shavings, dark fruit and black earth on the nose - but still a bit harsh and too one dimensional on the palette (surprisingly earthy for a new world Cab). This one really needs to spend some more time in the bottle (currently not living up to the $25 price tag).
