Not too sweet (which I was worried about for a cheaper rosé). Although still not my cup of tea: l'm new to wine and just starting to develop my pallet and this tasted too "winey". Although if you like wine you'll probably like this.
I usually drink blue nun (re: watery and inoffensive), so I'm probably not the best judge. I would not purchase this Spier wine again, although I don't think there's anything wrong with it, maybe I just don't like chardonnay-pinot noir blends.
UPDATE: we drank half the bottle the day we opened it and then left the rest in the fridge for two days. When we went to finish the wine today it had mellowed out nicely and was smooth and just delightful to drink. No off taste from oxidation at all! I really hate the taste of oxidized wine and it's a shame how many half bottles get poured down the sink because we're not heavy enough drinkers to finish a bottle in one sitting... Will be buying this wine again specifically because it stayed fresh even after two days!
