This wine is far better than the ratings. Perhaps it has become better. I will definitely buy it again.

Light to medium body, not much opacity. Very nice ruby, almost garnet.

Cherry up front on the nose, lots of earthy notes. Leather, baking spices, not much other fruit.

Quite dry, lots of tannins, finish was pretty short. Lots more flavor when I let it sit and open up.

Overall, a pleasant dinner wine.
