Piesporter Goldtröpfchen Spätlese "Jupp" Riesling

One of the best bottlings from this hallowed ground. Stunning nose. Layered and complex. Slate, apricot, peach, lime blossom, lemon, but sweet lemons. Huge herbal streak as well. Wow oh wow oh wow. Just a stinking insane nose. Palate is decadent and ripe but has insane freshness and the acidity is intense on the finish and mid but never intrusive. Sweet peaches and and candied lemons abound. So decadent but so balanced and ripe. Amazing stuff. Concentrated and super explosive. Amazing wine. A baby now but accessible. Stunningly long finish. So so elegant. This is a brilliant Spatlese. Holy smokes.

From a site within Goldtropfchen this is an absolute stunner. 2017 sweet wines are 🔥🔥. Huge nose of apricot, minerals, sweet peaches, vulcanized rubber but in that Mosel way. So good. Amazing balance and richness. Like pink grapefruit with sugar on top and then a whiplash acidity, minerality and salinity. My god this is good. So clean and nimble while being intense and rich. The Mosel ballet. Finishes bone fry. Stunning wine. Coming to an inbox near you.
