Blueberry, black olive and flowers. These are some of the most underrated wines in the northwest. The labels are terrible. The juice is great and really well made. Not really sure this wine lacks for anything and it feels like it’s going to age for a really long time. Still a baby, every one of the Spangler wines I’ve opened from the $50 mystery cases has been great.

2014 Alicante Bouschet. Deep dark black cherries with some baking spices on the nose. It smells super meaty. Nice plum/prune at the tip of the tongue. Nice jammy and grippy mid palate with a nice peppery soft finish. If you could eat this wine, I would join you!
