100% Barbaresco, declassified younger vines (20 years) from one of the top crus in Neive. This is a real bargain, but needs another 2-3 years in bottle to reveal fruit character. A more austere treatment than their Barbaresco designated wines, but with at least intermediate term cellaring potential and about half the price. I would have decanted this another 2-3 hours if possible, but I suspect the young tannins might still overshadow the youthful fruit character. Wait for this one.

Authentic, authoritative, refined, serious. Has the 3-dimensional aromatic potential only great Pinot Noir, Nebbiolo and Sangiovese can produce. Excellent.
