bottle was solid for about 20 min. Great fruit abd more weight than expected, but like all good things it left us to quickly.

Nose: fruit forward, forest floor, musty and floral. Taste: cherries, robust, spice, tannic floral depth. Visual: deep, deep burgundy red, incredible legs, careful of the sediment at the bottom! Definitely more earth than air, but great balance between fire and water.

Fabulous complex nose-- cassis, smoke, floral (violets??) maybe minor earthy (manure? Hummus?) flavor follows consistent w nose, balanced by just-right astringent tannins. Lovely long astringent/fruit linger.

Surprised to find this wine a bit advanced. Maybe questionable storage but still a decent wine. Large, smoked meat and varnish.
