Unlike the other '12s in the store, this one had its wrapping paper still on. Kept in the dark, this bottle has kept its shine. Caramelized peaches, lemon cream pie, crystallized honey. Acid still there on finish. When it's your birthday - why not unwrap your wine too? Cheers!

Everlasting buttered popcorn from nose to finish. Toffee, caramel, vanilla, over cooked popcorn, and overripe banana. High perceived alcohol on the finish, and with a palate focusing entirely on complexities from barrel influence. The fruit is completely paved over here.

One of the better American chards I have had. The collaborations of 3 generations of winemakers, comprising all of SCs winemakers over the years. Lean, the opposite of the butter-oakombs, but with so much subtlety and fleshy enough to be thoroughly enjoyable.
