The nose is beautiful, with notes of stone fruit and honeydew mixing with a touch of oak spice. The oak is not overdone, and it hits the palate as cleanly as you wish it would. The mouthfeel is full and creamy, the acidity is gently refreshing and the flavors of peach, pear, lemon and a bit of sweet oak make for a delicious sip.

A nice Chardonnay from Sonoma County, California.

Showing citrus, lemons, oak, light vanilla, spices and red apples.

Full bodied with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate, rich and fruit forward.

Not too oaky, which I liked.

13.9% alcohol by volume.

86 points.

$21.

A newly opened can of tennis balls, a healthy green lawn, lemon and dill crème fraîche, and white chalk. This is Wimbledon.

My roommate kicked me out for enjoying this wine too loudly. I had to spend the night at a Kinko's.

Located in the cool Sonoma Coast viticultural region, founded in 1973 by Brice Cutrer Jones, now owned by big wine. Straw yellow with stone fruit aromas, citrus and oak with spice notes. On the palate apple and peach, complex, savory with toasty oak and nutty caramel flavors. Creamy texture, medium finish ending with mineral tones. Much better than ‘15.

The older the vintage the better. Not my favorite anymore.
