Russian River Ranches Chardonnay

One of the best Chardonnays that I've ever had. Don't make your judgement from the first sip. Instead, wait until it opens up with your meal. You're sure to be delighted!

Chardonnay

Very nice and classically Californian. Oak forward with cream followed by pear and a balancing touch of citrus. A little oakier than my favorites but still nice. You’ll like more if that’s your style.

Had at Volare - very smooth & light - Chardonnay

More oak than wine. Bit salty finish. Yawn, is it the hours at the airport or the “excitement” of the wine.

Crisp green apples with light to medium oak. Lychee nuts and then minerals on the back and as it warms. Many layers.

In your face Chardonnay

Much too cold to start- much better as it warmed a bit. Low oak, medium body, lots of pear & apple with some citrus there as well. Seems on the higher alcohol side. Not bad- a mid-level+ wine.
