Sonoma-Cutrer
Russian River Ranches Chardonnay
Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County, California, USAOne of the best Chardonnays that I've ever had. Don't make your judgement from the first sip. Instead, wait until it opens up with your meal. You're sure to be delighted!

More oak than wine. Bit salty finish. Yawn, is it the hours at the airport or the “excitement” of the wine.

Mar 4th, 2022Crisp green apples with light to medium oak. Lychee nuts and then minerals on the back and as it warms. Many layers.

Much too cold to start- much better as it warmed a bit. Low oak, medium body, lots of pear & apple with some citrus there as well. Seems on the higher alcohol side. Not bad- a mid-level+ wine.
