Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese

Dried prunes with dusty earth undertones. Bright acid on the palate with dark black cherries.

Dusty black fruit, cinnamon, and heat on the nose (only 14% abv). Strong tannins - blackberry, plum, sage and cedar on the palate.

Solid but for a Brunello under 40 bones, but needs a bit of bottle time.

Dark ripe fruit and old wrld, earthy aromas, ripe dark berry flavors, very soft tannins, drinking well now.

This was a bit too big for me, but I liked its depth and richness a while after being opened.

smoth... good for this pricelevel.

Great wine for meat dishes. We had it with a home made Italian meatloaf.

At home. Dads favorite Italian wine

Earthy on the nose and the palate. Ruby with minor garrett. Limited acidity and medium tannin. Short finish. Enjoyed with veal wraps around turkey and cheese.

Full bodied. Tannins linger for a longer finish. Some at the table detected cherry, some plum and vanilla. We opened it 30-40 mins before a meal of salmon and couscous with mixed vegetables.
