I’m used to Tokai etc and was pleasantly surprised by this (sec) white

Makes me think of great Alsacian pinot gris. Texturaly rich, complex mineral infused, white pomme fruits. Amazing w food, frankly horrible as an aperitif.

Better than I expected. Minerally, some resin, good acid. Would buy again for the price.

honeysuckle, grass, lemon water, beeswax, metal ring, barrel echo

Good not great. Has a bit more buttery/oaky notes than I would have expected compared to other Hungarian wines. Still enjoyed.

Great wine. Very balanced. Not too sweet or acidic.

Very minerally, with a nose like pear, green apple, but with also the smell of wet rocks along the sea. The flavor is long and lingering with flavors of green apple, pear, but also heavy minerality and very vegetal and dry, not for every day, and not my favorite, but definitely could pair well with a tasting.

Apple and bosc pear. Slightly smokey, savory quality to it. Very high acidity. Needs food.

Very interesting white from Hungary. Grape variety I’ve not had before. Wooly in texture and good pairing with a variety of Mediterranean food.
