My first Furmint! Deep acid supports scents reminding of a beautiful Eau de Parfum. I expected a light mouthfeel, but was surprised with by its silky, almost Chardonnay-buttery, mouthfeel. Taste similar to the nose, but with tobacco undertones. Unlike any white I’ve had; absolutely delightful! Don’t think, just drink! Thank you #iancauble!

One of the most compelling whites I’ve had in quite some time. Now if only I had another case lying around here 🤔 Thankfully SommSelect (Ian Cauble’s gig) still has some residual stock from their initial offer a month ago. Delicate nose of overripe/bruised pear, overripe peach, granite/slate, mild white pepper, honeysuckle, jasmine, and slight menthol. On the palate restrained finesse with subdued candied tropical fruits, moist river rocks, and ever-so-slight citrus zest. Love this stuff. Paired well with yet another Thai dinner.
