Sweet Jesus who left the barn door open. Great balance and earthy. Oregon has the chops.

Muted strawberry and raspberries. Flat. Musky spice oak very faint. Tart disappearing act on the finish.

Clear dark ruby. Abundant nose of musty, earthy black cherry with a vanilla sheen. Medium bodied palate echoes the nose with a bit of anise and medium acidity. Medium minus tannins that mildly assert on the finish. Classic higher end Willamette PN at a great price. Pair with pork, duck, salmon (Pacific, natch) or practically anything else. Drink now through 2029 when the mellowed fruit will suggest Burgundy.

Husband/wife team, Laurent Montalieu and Danielle Andrus Montalieu created Soléna Cellars. Soléna is the combination of the Spanish and French words "Solana" and "Solene" celebrating the sun and the moon. Vivid deep red with Berry fruit aromas and floral spice. On the palate cherry and strawberry flavors with vivid acidity and fine tannins ending with espresso notes on a medium ending.
