Dec 13th, 2016SAMPLE. Sent via post, arrived with the cork 1/2 pushed out (sign of temperature issues in transit). Still, true to varietal characteristics and well structured. Enjoyable after-dinner drinker.

Apr 12th, 2015In general I love the 2011 vintage in the Willamette Valley, but this wine is not a fav. The nose is gorgeous showing red cherry and red raspberry with a touch of smoke and spice, but this does not translate to the palate. The fruit is very light, simple, and does not balance the abundant acidity. The effect is light and tart.

Tight. Good, lingering acidity. Flavor profile is mostly floral right now, but there is red fruit hiding. Fine, consistent tannins. Has the bones to be beautiful in a few years.

Apr 19th, 2014Nice Pinot Noir, but really not worth the $30 it cost. It drank more like a $15 Pinot. Lower alcohol content, 12.5%, a little flavors of cranberry and raspberry, but not extremely distinctive.
