The cork was dry & had to be pushed in & the wine strained. Good thing I have my Grandma's old crystal decanter. Nice deep color, but too much acid. Disappointing for an $18 bottle recommended by an employee at Total Wine....Well I must admit, after 2 days in the decanter, it opened up into a much nicer wine. This wine definitely needs to breathe.

Aug 9th, 2014It isn't all just Port! A great red from north eastern Portugal - there are some great wineries that stand in the shadow if Port that deserve to be tasted by all!
