Maraschino cherries and coffee on the nose.
Visibly, the wine wasn’t compelling, and this was consistent on the mid palate. Overall, it lacked weight. Moderately sweet, but finished a touch tart. Not feeling this bottle at all - Inn at Pound Ridge.

Very well made. Opulent without being OTT. Tannins are still primal, which is a good sign. Oak is upfront, but not monstrous. Cherry reduction and cassis complete what is a muscular presentation. It’s pricey, and only sold in a 3 pack. Well worth sending out a search party for...

Prior notes apply.
Strong showing. Layered, textured and nuanced. This will sail on for years to come. Maraschino cherries combine with maple syrup and espresso notes to complete what is an excellent presentation.

The 2014 vintage edges the 15 vintage, but still impressive.

Yes This, their inaugural vintage is still all there! I’m sure this still has another 10 years! Big red fruit and just a lot of fun! Tart cherries

The wine and the people behind it are both exceptional! If you don’t know, seek this out.

On the nose, ripe gummy style fruits. Blackberries, dark cherries, plum, dry pomegranate & cranberries, strawberries & blue fruit vapors. Gravely rocks and top soil, dry stones, soft baking spices; vanilla, cinnamon, clove, raspberry cola, bright red & blue florals.

The 15 is still very fresh even though it’s been in bottle a year. The 15 is lighter style body than their 13 & 14. It’s more medium bodied. Ripe & juicy fruits of; dark cherries, blackberries, strawberries, black raspberries, plum, dry pomegranate & strawberries with blueberries on the edges of the palate. Dark spice on the long palate set. Crushed dry rocks, dry stone, touch of black cherry licorice/cola, soft leather, dry stems and bright red & blue florals. The acidity is bright and quite nice. The length, structure, tension still need some time but, will not as much time as their bigger 13 & 14. The finish is refreshing, fruit driven that develops complexity with earth and spice after time in the glass.

Photos of, their Estate vines, Lamb Chops, architecture drawings of the winery they plan to build and guests enjoying the 15 release party.
