Light gold in color with a yellow tint.
Light nose of lemons, citrus, green apples, grapefruits, minerals, spices, grass and white pepper.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity, crisp and refreshing.
Dry on the palate with limes, grapefruits, lemon juice, citrus, spices and black pepper.
Medium on the finish with limes and almonds.
This is a great surprise. Simple and nicely balanced Sauvignon Blanc from California, with racing acidity and a nice mouthfeel. Full of lemons and grapefruits, but not bitter. Yummy.
I had it almost a year ago and it developed nicely and is peaking now. Good for everyday, the beach or just for lunch with a pretty view.
I paired it with a seafood salad.

Actually pretty decent for a $9 bottle. A little more buttery and a little less fruity than we would usually like, but nicely dry and went well with a vaguely Asian chicken dinner. Decent find.

May 15th, 2017Enjoyable SB without the grassy taste common with the varietal. 13.5% alcohol and can bite a little on the way down, but overall, very pleasant to drink.
