Ali Story, of Smith-Story Wines, was in town and did a nice tasting at Classic today. A pleasure to meet and very unique and enjoyable wines.

A nice take on Sonoma Coast Chardonnay that is without a doubt more mineral driven than most. Hardly picked up any oak here. Stone fruits, melon, limestone.

Persistent and chablis like body. Yummy complexity of apple and citrus fruit and bracing minerality. Long. Youthful. A beautiful ballerina of a chardonnay.

Absolutely delightful, crisp and fruity. Hardly a hint of oak, just the kind of Chardonnay we enjoy.

Wanted to like this but just OK. One note and a tad clumsy. Almost a watered down ripe and toasty chard.
