Dark red. Red plums and blood colored. Smells sorta dried fruity. Some mocha chocolatey stuff to go with the fruity-meaty aromas. Flavor is herbal and licorice-laced. Cherry pits and cassis. Maybe something olive. Roasted sweet orange, red and yellow peppers. The whole fajita. Tart. Dry. Dense. Inky and perfumed on the finish. Aged well and could have gone even longer. It drinks like many Napa Valley wines that run twice to 10 times the cost. Another Suisun Valley winner.
