California Petite Sirah - Zinfandel Blend

This is too young to be a Slam Dunk but it has promise. Equally Vivino labels this as simply a Red, the bottle says Red Wine and Delectable says it’s a Petite Syrah - Zinfandel. Over all not bad with pork belly tacos

Wife and I really enjoyed this at dinner last night. It’s on the list!

i drank so much wine these last two weeks i need to log my reviews so bear with me on remembering these. this one was indeed a slam dunk

For $14 this is a slam dunk. Dark ripe plums and rich earth. Nice wine.

55% Petite Syrah and 45% Zinfandel. Aromas of violets, baking spices and blackberry jam. Dark berry fruit flavors along with cooked plums, soy sauce and rosemary. Full bodied. Oaky. Seems a bit manipulated.

Excellent, reasonably priced wine. The Zinfandel supplies an appealing touch of sweetness while the Petit Sirah grounds it with a bit of earthiness.
