This Grenache rosé throws delightful aromas of fresh strawberry, white flowers, and hint of freshly cut grass. Follows with a lively acidity and flavors of strawberry, raspberry, and a bit of smooth creme fraiche on a surprisingly long finish. Stellar pairing with balsamic glazed pork chops and roasted sweet potato! [10/3/23] ($19)

Made with Provence in mind, this rose is Grenache driven but lacks color and body. Very pale pink and producing a very subdued nose, some orange and soft floral elements are present. Neither fruit nor acid shine on the palate, and it comes across watery and a bit flat. It's not offensive, just extremely mild and you would never guess it sits at 13.5 abv. Could see this used as a summer party wine but not as the star of the party.

Dan at Back Room Wines recommended this when I asked him for the best French rose in the store. And this did not disappoint. It has a bit more fruit sweetness than most French versions but this 100% Grenache wine is bright, elegant and refreshing.

The last glass or so from a magnum it was quite good. I would definitely try them again and feel this would be a perfect summer wine. Not sure of the price, but I would say it is a good value for the size.
