Grand Cuvee Nemea 2008 agiortikio by Domaine Skouros. Opened for half an hour and paired with a lobster bisque, this is surprising in how much it works. The bisque tempers the slight tannins in the wine and the wine makes the bisque even more creamier. The nose is much more promising than the palate but it's still a wonder of black and blue fruits, earth, leather and some vanilla. Beautiful start to the soup course.
