Wow- beautiful and expressive wine that provides both intellectual interest and just pure deliciousness. Apricot in color, the aroma sings with florals, fresh herbs, apricot and nectarine, orange zest and jasmine tea. The slightest touch of bandaid-y funk. Great ripe and juicy stone fruit on the palate, with mouth-coating acidity and soft yet present tannin. Start to finish this is like biting into a just-ripe nectarine. Highly successful pairing with salmon kale salad on day 1, and a kale and manchego egg frittata on day 2. I wish all wines were this tasty and exciting.

2009. Super enjoyable and interesting. Not enormously complex, but an intriguing and delicious combination of peachy fruitiness and funky earthiness. Skin contact. Lovely.
