A bit out of the way on the Cayuga Lake wine trail (depending on your start point of course) but this 2011 Pinot Noir made it worth the stop.

Not your typical Pinot taste profile. Dark ruby with spicy nose and smoky and spicy dark berry at the front of palate. Lingering tannins but complexity seemed to drop off at the end.
