Second and last bottle of vintage, retasting. As the variety goes, a winner... Good acidity, flavors. One of the better American Pinot Gris wines I’ve had

World’s best back wine label ever: basically, the winemaking is “meticulously select, press lightly and keep our hands off... All the other wonderful qualities of the wine, the rich aromatics, the minerality, the long, complex finish come out of the vineyard”. Pale yellow white, excellent clarity. Citrus and floral notes in nose. Lemongrass, lime peel flavors, rounded mouthfeel, good acidity, almost dry, minimal skin astringency. Minerality? Check. A hint of grapefruit on the finish. Better for sipping and canapés than a hearty meal.

Feels more like a Chenin blanc than Pinot Gris-- medium+ bodied, juicy, tart, medium acid, lots of citrus and bright fruits, but an interesting honey note as well (without any true sweetness). Very nicely balanced, and the most diverse pg I've ever tasted.

Something nostalgic about this wine... Honey I Shrunk the Kids. Action figures, trolls, grass, balloons... definitely PG.

Pretty high acid and a fair amount of complexity for a PG. I enjoyed it.
