Lots of spice for a Cali Pinot. And light as well. Thoroughly guzzle-worthy and I would drink it with any food.

2013 this time. Nice and light. A little spice but not overdone. Cilantro perhaps, having it with spinach and prosciutto pizza!

Bright garnet glass with pink translucent rim. Nose of plum, blackberry, dry tobacco, anise and a hint of vanilla. Pleasant juicy mild to medium acid to the palate of tart cherry, tobacco, and vanilla. Light medium body with tiny grippy, slightly bitter tannins leads to a long dry finish of bramble and oak with a hint of black pepper. Good balance and structure but a bit dear at $21.99 USD. Still, good light dish company but slightly bitter tannins may bother some as a sipper.
