Sonoma County Chardonnay

Interesting fruit in the nose, too much oak in the mouth

2017 tasted very oaky. A nice wine. I'm not a Chardonnay lady though.

Deep yellow color - melon and lemon on the nose. Sweeter than expected and not very buttery, but a nice, fruity Chardonnay

Strong pear and tropical notes. Buttery. A little on the sweet side

Bubbly. Nose is lovely with roasted nuts, ripe fruit like banana, fresh cut apple, and hint of sweetness. Taste of savory nutty notes, a bit zest, a bit salty mineral, warm spice, and a touch of grapefruit. Aftertaste is medium length, with zest note starting to dominate, the only trivial complaint. Nicely done and on par with some Chardonnay that are 2X or 3X prices.
