Inky red in color. The nose is ripe cherry, stewed cherry, and ripe strawberry. More red fruit on the palate along with new oak, cola, and and cedar with a hint of molasses. High alcohol, medium plus tannins, high alcohol, and high acid. Racy but a bit hot.

In the mouth you get dark fruit and cola with moderate plus acid through the finish and medium tannins with heavy weight on the palate. Checking the label this is a 15.2 percent alcohol wine, and it taste like it. Best to pair this wine with BBQ ribs or a cheeseburger.

Bought this wine 2 to 3 years ago. Opened in 2016, the tannins softened, berries and fruits still in the blood of wine. Beautiful wine still. I think I paid $18.
