Syrupy alcohol nose. Sugary fruit forward fading to molasses and moderate acid. A viscous wine with extra sugar to spare.

Alcohol predominates in the nose over stewed fruit notes. In the mouth you get dark fruit and cola with moderate plus acid through the finish and medium tannins with heavy weight on the palate. Checking the label this is a 15.2 percent alcohol wine, and it taste like it. Best to pair this wine with BBQ ribs or a cheeseburger.

Bought this wine 2 to 3 years ago. Opened in 2016, the tannins softened, berries and fruits still in the blood of wine. Beautiful wine still. I think I paid $18.
