Inky black cherry color. Jammy blackberry and black raspberry fruits, rosemary and menthol herbs. Supple and not too tannic. Blackberry jam flavors tinged with deep black smoky earth. Deeply extracted but balanced. Some savoriness and good acidity. Fruit is dominant. Finish is long and savory with black fruits.

Found in my dad's cellar, fun wine with a lot of sweet oak flavor, but holding well and nicely made.

Deep maroon color. Plum and leather nose. Dry with tannins and leather. Tasted better when first opened, but may have just been my palate at the time.

Chewy and rich, but wish it had a touch more fruit to balance the acidity and earthiness very good with food.
