Olive tapenade nose at first then showing prune and raisins. Tannins still lift the profile of this wine. Bright acidity. Smoked Mushroom 🍄 complements a strong finish.

Apr 12th, 2017Marked at first by round sweet oak attack, with subtle bing cherry behind. Juniper berry, plum mid palate comes out as it warms. Cedar, fresh blackberry resolution after 90 mins.

Feb 15th, 2017Back in the good ol' days of Silver Oak...I bought several on release knowing very little what my wine future would hold. Cellared perfect, green/bell pepper and straight up dust on the nose. Plenty of fruit and tannins with bright acidity. Mouth fills with a ting of cherry, cola and a mineral element. Finish comes then goes. Hint of spice on the back side.
