Exceedingly tasty, with vanilla and honey flavors

Cork very crumbly, had to decant. Faded glory but still drinkable. Admittedly I hadn't taken very good care with the bottle during its life.

There's no shaking the underlying vegetal character although some like that style. The wine opens up over time and provides a decent foil for Christmas Eve prime rib. Certainly holding up well to the years

Very oaks with nice fruit. Slight sharpness.

1993 Vintage.

Green peppercorn. Tannins. Tongue stuck dry.

Oak fully integrated. Attractive bouquet.

Ok.... Passed its prime for sure. Very little fruit left
