Found another bottle, medium ruby with aromas of ripe red fruits and heavy earthy spice. On the palate tart ripe cherry, plums and cacao flavors. Firm tannins, high acidity, medium(-) finish ending with herb and earthy mushroom notes. Good, going downhill and displays way too much of an earthy for my tastes.

A very youthful example of a warm vintage Barolo. Classic tar, roses, cold tea, cherry, subtle spice aromatics, palate has the firm tannins and taught acid structure as expected. Cracking wine, still a baby.
