2009 Saussignac: A Lovely dessert wine, balanced, sweet (but not too sweet), and delicious.
It come from Saussignac AOC in Bergerac, in the South west part of France not far from Bordeaux.
The wine is based on Semillon grapes that were effected by botrytis. The wine has a deep gold color, lovely nose of Acacia flowers, honey, peaches, apricot, and minerals, creamy body, sweet but balanced with lovely acidity, smooth tasty sweet finish, that cry for one more sip :-) a true gem. My score 90, drink to 2020
