Absolutely beautiful soft round tannins with lush deep fruit.

Very element - probably at a peak - still some bright red fruits and plenty of spice rack

Yummy and well aged. Great nose, dark fruit, exceptional finish. 0 tannins.

If you are holding this wine, drink it now. Many of my 1997s (arguably one of the best years in decades for CA cabs) are still drinking strong, but this one is over the hill. Still flavorful, but very thin on the finish. Not what is used to be. Not the wine's fault - my fault, for waiting too long. My memory, before the existence of Delectable, was a high 90's for this vino.
