La Reyna Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

My first impression is the amount of acidity this has, and it’s lack of typical Pinot funkiness. What it lacks there though it makes up for in spice. Not hot spice, it’s cool feeling.

Could’ve sat a lot longer. Very young.

Good for what it is. It's not priced like Benzingers bio dynamic wines but tastes like them even though it is one.

Nice oak but too young.

Fruit forward. Hints of strawberry, plum, dark cherry, and cocoa. Pairs well with chicken. Tannic.

Berries and smoke. Intense Pinot Noir.
